- NeedyMeds is the best source of information about assistance programs that help with the cost of medicine and other healthcare expenses. This list has all the drugs and dosages that are available through patient assistance programs, sorted alphabetically by brand name. The generic name is in parenthesis. Some drugs are listed more than once because they are available through more than one program. If your medicine is not listed on the Brand Name list or the Generic Name list, it's not currently available through a patient assistance program.
